SPAM: Processed Meat or Junk Email?

Spiced-ham maker Hormel has recently launched a massive advertising campaign in the UK in an attempt to convince the masses that SPAM is spiced-ham and not junk email. The ads will feature characters including construction workers, campers and pantomimes all enjoying SPAM. Whether these ads convince you that SPAM is enjoyable or not, the fact remains that many of our email inboxes are pilfered with the electronic version of the stuff each and every day of the year. The task of sorting through the legitimate and illegitimate messages seems to have added the term "Virtual Mailroom Worker" as an addendum to each of our job titles.

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do to guarantee that you'll never receive another SPAM message as long as you live.
